“Psychic Energy” is the first book in English published by ROSSASIA, Publishing House of the Siberian Roerich Society.

A compiler of this book is Natalia Spirina (1911–2004)—a person of the great spiritual culture, a specimen of that true Russian intelligentsia, who devoted their whole life to service to the high ideals of humanity. Life of many people was totally changed after meeting her, she awakened in their souls sense of beauty, opened wide horizons of knowledge.

Natalia Spirina is a well-known researcher of the Roerichs’ heritage, a poet and writer, editor-in-chief of the “Voskhod” magazine. She has founded in the city of Novosibirsk, Siberia, a nongovernment organization, Siberian Roerich Society, with the purpose of conveying to people Nicholas Roerich’s ideas about revival of spiritual culture on our planet.

A climax of N.Spirina’s activities was the foundation of two public museums of Nicholas Roerich in Siberia—in Novosibirsk and in the village of Verkhniy Uymon (the Republic of Altai), both of the two places being connected with Roerich’s travels. Both museums were built thanks to voluntary contributions, and hundreds of volunteers from all over Russia as well as from other countries took part in the construction work.

Now the cultural and educational activities of the both museums allow every visitor to get acquainted with the creative work of Roerich, the great artist, philosopher and public figure.

Afflux of tourists to both museums is increasing every year. More and more people become friends of the Siberian Roerich Society, both in Russia and abroad. People who share Roerich’s philosophical and cultural ideas continue to unite in creative labor in the field of cultural construction aimed at Common Good of humanity, regardless of their place of residence on our Earth.
